Last Friday, I visited "Ground Zero" with my friend Pastor Ricky del Rio. He pastors Abounding Grace Ministries in the Lower East Side of New York City and is a leader on the Ground Zero Clergy Task Force.

New York City Relief has been invited to be a member of the Network NYC Task Force, a group of major Christian ministries working together to provide resources through the local churches to those in need.

We are honored to be able to contribute our recently updated social services data base, which consists of more than 450 resources in the New York City area.

So much has been said and written about the terrorist attack. However, this challenge is far from over; in fact, for many it has just begun.

Since September 11th, the number of people coming to the bus to be counselled and connected has more than doubled.

Now is the time to get involved by supporting the Hope Center and The Relief Bus with your time and finances. We are committed to God and with his help we are possessed of hope for all of those in need. Please respond by filling out the enclosed envelope today!
