White Man "Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loved has fulfilled the law" (Romans 13:8) This video was a product of the love I am seeing God has for me. Truth be told in the editing process, I found myself crying out for Godıs love. This video was intended to be a compliment to our yearly Youth Sunday service, in which our theme was ³Let Love Live.² The song ³White Man² (Written by Michael and Lisa Gungor, and performed by the Michael Gungor Band) moved both myself and the youth leadership team, and we knew we had to find some way to incorporate it into the schedule. The song itself is, in my interpretation, a call to recognize and practice Godıs love. Many times we try to place a title on who God may or may not be, but if there is anything that he identifies himself with it is love. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) Our relationships with God are wrapped with the sacrifice he made for us out of love. Our ability to turn to him and enter into his holy presence and to be constantly forgiven for our actions, was a gift of love that God gave to all of us. This video is meant to push individuals to re-examine the love limiters in our own lives.
